About Me

I am a freelance multimedia journalist based in Brussels.

I have reported feature stories and news analyses, online and in print, for The Parliament Magazine.

My work revolves around EU policymaking. In particular, I covered the implementation of the EU migration pact, the technologies used at borders and the implications of building return hubs for rejected asylum-seekers outside the EU. I also wrote about EU enlargement and women's rights, including access to abortion in the EU and legislation on violence against women.

I occasionally reported on climate, energy and tech. I covered the outcomes of COP30 in Brazil, the green data center boom in Iceland and U.S. Big Tech lobbying in Brussels.

I enjoy writing visually engaging stories and design interactive maps and charts to support my reporting.

One of my favorite ways of telling stories is through sound. I enjoy making — and listening to — podcasts that develop a story across multiple episodes, with carefully crafted sound design that creates an immersive experience for listeners.

Between 2022 and 2024, I interviewed academics, residents and water supply companies affected by pollution from PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in Italy's Veneto region and followed the trial against the company responsible for contaminating groundwater that serves over 300,000 people. The result was "Eterni — Il caso Pfas in Veneto," an investigative podcast I wrote, edited and co-hosted with Lavinia Frattini, published by Fuori Aula Network in 2024. In June 2026, it won the inaugural award for best piece of journalism on a university radio station, given by the Italian National Order of Journalists.

During my three years in university radio, I wrote, hosted and produced various podcasts, including a weekly review of University of Verona events and publications, as well as other news and entertainment projects. I also hosted live events and livestreams.

I regularly contributed to Europhonica, a joint radio project run by the association of Italian university radio stations to keep students informed about EU policymaking during European Parliament plenary sessions in Strasbourg.
